You choose the contribution level. The offer can begin at no contribution, then rise from 0.1p to 0.5p per kWh if that works for your organisation.

Electricity participation starts the grant eligibility clock. Gas does not contribute to the fund. The fund is managed by the Community Foundation for Calderdale.

01 / The offer

Start with no contribution

You are provided with an offer with no contribution at all. Consider what is affordable for your organisation before choosing whether to participate.

02 / Your choice

Choose your level

If you choose to participate, select a contribution from 0.1p to 0.5p per kWh of electricity. You choose the level. There is no prize for choosing the highest figure.

03 / The clock

Keep supply for six months

Electricity participation starts the grant eligibility clock. Keep your supply contract for at least six months before you can apply. Gas does not contribute to the fund.

04 / The fund

Reach £10,000, then apply

The fund must reach £10,000 before eligible organisations can receive grant support and before grant applications open.

The result for you

Support for the right energy projects, subject to approval.

Charities, private companies, community interest companies and non-profit organisations may be eligible to apply for grants for suitable energy-saving, carbon-reduction and environmental projects. These grants are for those measures only, not general business-cost support.

Eligibility, award levels and project approval are determined by the Community Foundation for Calderdale. Hawley Energy does not decide who receives grants.
